2025-2026 Tryouts Dates & Times:
August 26, 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm *Schottenstein Center*
August 27, 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm *Schottenstein Center*
August 29, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm *OSU Ice Rink*
Important Information:
- Tryouts are over three days, beginning at the end of August
- There is a $60 non-refundable fee for participating in tryouts
- Cash and checks are accepted
- Checks must be made out to OSU Men's Ice Hockey Club
- Cash and checks are accepted
- For skates held at the Schottenstein Center, Permit Parking is available in Gray Lots 1 and 2
- Enter the Schottenstein by taking the steps down to the loading dock and accessing the building through the Security Entrance
- The Security Staff will direct you to the locker room & check-in from there
- Tryouts include drills and then a scrimmage
- Participants must check in with our team manager upon arrival at the rink to be assigned a practice jersey
- Cuts will be made via email after each skate
- Full equipment is needed, no half-shields
